    Dieline:

    CPC will be glad to send you an Adobe Illustrator or PDF file with the appropriate cup size template for your artwork.

    Preliminary Artwork:

    Please feel free to send us any preliminary artwork. We will review and provide feedback for optimal flexo printability.

    Colors:

    List all colours used. Four colour images should be saved in CMYK mode. If a spot colour is used, please indicate Pantone® number or include swatch to colour match.

    Trademark Symbols/Images/Fonts:

    TrademarkTM/Register ®/Copyright© Symbols should be heavy enough to print; 6 pt. for positive type and 8 pt. for reverse type.

    Customer assumes all responsibility for obtaining permission to reproduce copyrighted logos, images and fonts used in the supplied artwork.

    Flexographic Printing:

    • Line Screens: 3 colour press: 65 Ipi | 6 colour press: 100-120 Ipi

    • Minimum Rule: (positive) is .5 pt | (reverse) is 1 pt

    • Minimum Type: (positive) is 6 pt | (reverse) is 8 pt Fonts should not contain thin areas. The thinnest area should be no smaller than.007"

    • Trap: Do not trap artwork. Trap amount is art and press dependent and is between .015"-.03"

    • Tints and gradients recommended 2%-100%

    • Bar Codes no smaller than 80%

    Digital Files:

    Send art files at 100% actual size. Eliminate all unnecessary elements and colours in your file and send only files needed for production. 

    Always supply a PDF of final artwork with native art files and any supporting files (including fonts).
